Introduction
Welcome to ENEN2002 Energy Management and Climate Change. This unit has two main sections: 1-Climate Change (including global environmental issues and mitigation measures); and 2-Energy Management (including definition of energy, energy balances, energy managment strategies, energy audits, energy bills, ecomonics analysis and lifecycle costing, energy integration, sustainable cities and renewable energy).

Unit Learning Outcomes
- 1 express basic concepts related to energy such as units of energy, energy conversion, and efficiency, magnitudes of energy and energy density, GC1, GC3
- 2 explain available techniques for energy production, GC1, GC3, GC5, GC6
- 3 determine the relative advantages and disadvantages of different energy sources, GC1, GC2, GC4, GC5, GC6
- 4 analyse the impacts of different energy sources based on the sustainability pillars related to society, environment and economy, GC1, GC4, GC5, GC6

- 4 Apply systems thinking for innovative solutions to global environmental engineering challenges, discern knowledge and undertake applied research in a discipline of environmental engineering
